Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, booking services, or visiting our spa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Appointment and Booking Terms

Booking Requirements

  • All appointments must be booked in advance
  • Valid contact information is required for booking confirmation
  • Payment or valid payment method may be required at booking
  • Appointments are subject to therapist availability

Arrival and Check-in

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment
  • Late arrival may result in shortened service time
  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation
  • Health intake forms must be completed before service
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Advance Notice Required

We require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid charges.

Cancellation Fees

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: 50% of service cost
  • No-shows: 100% of service cost
  • Same-day cancellations due to illness: fees may be waived at discretion
  • Weather-related cancellations: no fees applied

Rescheduling

Appointments can be rescheduled without penalty with 24+ hours notice, subject to availability.

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Cash
  • Gift cards and certificates
  • HSA/FSA cards (where applicable)

Payment Timing

Payment is due at the time of service. Prepayment may be required for certain packages or gift certificates.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in service prices and is at your discretion. Standard gratuity is 15-20% of the service cost.

Health and Safety Requirements

Health Disclosures

You must disclose any health conditions that may affect your massage, including:

  • Pregnancy
  • Recent injuries or surgeries
  • Chronic medical conditions
  • Allergies or sensitivities
  • Current medications

Contraindications

We reserve the right to refuse service if you have conditions that make massage inadvisable, such as fever, contagious conditions, or recent fractures.

Hygiene Standards

Please arrive clean and appropriately groomed. We maintain strict hygiene standards and expect the same from our clients.

Professional Boundaries

Therapeutic Nature

All massages are therapeutic in nature. Any inappropriate behavior or requests will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

Draping Policy

Proper draping will be maintained at all times. Clients may request modifications to pressure, technique, or areas worked on during the session.

Communication

Please communicate your comfort level, pressure preferences, and any concerns during your session.

Liability and Disclaimers

Assumption of Risk

By receiving massage therapy, you acknowledge that there are potential risks and agree to assume responsibility for any adverse reactions.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

Medical Disclaimer

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment. Consult your physician for medical conditions.

Gift Certificates and Packages

Validity

Gift certificates do not expire but cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Transferability

Gift certificates are transferable to other individuals but cannot be split between multiple people for partial use.

Package Terms

Service packages must be used by the original purchaser and are subject to availability and scheduling restrictions.

General Terms

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which our spa operates.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
